This is out by the end of the driveway and also need some pumpkins there too!
Tonight I'll be at my son's football game freezing, you would think by now I'd be use to it but I'm not, I hate to be cold, if it rains, which they say it might, it will be even worse.
I hope everyone has a great fall weekend!
Oh my goodness Rondell,
ReplyDeleteYour header photo is adorable!!!I just love those stuffed pumpkins so much!
Your porch and yard and everything look wonderful!
Have a great weekend and try to stay warm!
Robin~♥
It all looks great. :) Even without the extras that you think you need, it looks wonderful. You're doing much better than I am! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned my shower curtain...it isn't hard. I used 4 yards of homespun, although it was actually too much, so I had extras for other things. Sew sections of fabric together. (A traditional shower curtain is 72X72, I made mine a bit longer because I wanted to cover the side of the tub) The tricky part is lining up the plaid. Then you just fold the edges in and sew. I used curtain ring clips from Wal-Mart and just popped the cap off the end of my curtain rod, slid the rings on and put the cap back on.....
I know you could do it :)
Have a great weekend!
Leslie
Very nice Rondell!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that stitchery, wish I could do them!
Stay warm and enjoy the game!
I love your new stitchery...I just bought a little bench like you have the stitchery sitting on yesterday at Hobby Lobby. I've painted it black too...I'm not done with it yet but great minds think alike:) Your outside looks great too! <3Lauren
ReplyDeleteI love your stitchery. Thanks for sharing where you got the pattern because I think I would like to make one. It's 85 degrees here today--it really doesn't feel too much like fall. have a great weekend. julie

YOur banner looks wonderful as does all your outside decor.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to those cold football games. I bought the long stadium coat from Landes End just for those games and I would bring a sleeping bag pull it up over my legs and thighs and under my butt to keep the bottom half warm.It really helped for the late in season games when there was snow and temps in the single digits!
Everything is looking terrific, Rondell!
ReplyDeleteI hope you stay dry tonight at the game. It's been raining here all day and we're due for a very wet weekend. Oh my!
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteIn reagards to your felt buying (a few posts down) I just wanted to let you know that I have done the SAME thing before. I actually have a bin full of felt. How about making a felt/flannel board for the grand kids with all the leftovers? I have one for preschool and the kids love it!
Keep warm!

ReplyDeleteGreat stitchery - love it and your outside fall decorations are wonderful. Hope your side won the football game and I don't think you ever get used to sitting in the cold for those games. My boy's sport of choice was hockey and I never got used to sitting in an arena.
