~Voting This Morning~

What a wonderful day this is just to be able to have the privilege to vote freely!
This is what this morning looked like out my kitchen window...we vote right across the gravel road:) I walk to vote and I've seen some others walking and some even on bicycles that's how nice it is outside today! The Blainsburg Bible Church is right across from our home this is where we vote, we are the only two up here so really I only have neighbors on Wednesdays evenings, Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays:)
Yes, I voted for Barack Obama, this country needs change and I feel he's the one to do it!!!
Have a wonderful day and make sure to vote!

I love your valance in your kitchen. You wanna know why? I have the same ones in my kitchen window! Mine are the fishtail. I love the color and pattern.
I too use to love Pepsi. But I thought that I better change to something with less calories and tasted like regular, so Diet Dr. Pepper it is =)
I too voted. It is time for a change!

  6. It's great to see a handful of blog friends voting for Obama. I hope for the best tonight. I live in a red state...but I'm hoping my vote will help get Obama more electoral votes. We'll see. Nebraska and Maine can split their electoral votes.

I had to walk a couple blocks to my voting station-it was at the community in my small town.

  9. Love the new look! I voted too, for McCain/Palin. I just have a bad feeling about Obama, had to vote with a honest heart! Either way, our new President will make history!

  10. How convenient to walk across the street!! I was thrilled that they closed school today because I vote in a school - made it much easier to getin and out.

PS I love your new header!!

  11. The kids and I walked across the street this morning so that I could cast my vote. We proudly wore our voting stickers for the rest of the day ... and now we're all glued to the news coverage -- hoping for change and better days ahead.

I voted too...for McCain/Palin...I feel they're the change we need, but then that's why we all have the freedom to choose. Whoever, wins, I'll be praying for the leader of our great country and for the American people!

  16. Good Morning Rondell!
Love the fall wreath on the window. Looks great!
I live close to Charlotte and on the news they just kept talking about how long all the lines were at the polls. I vote at a small country church too and I figured I would be there with about 2 other people...well IT WAS PACKED!! It wasn't a long line but all the voting booths were constantly filled. It was so exciting!
    Hope your day is great!!

  18. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a nice comment. I have been expecting "hate" comments all morning. Why is it that Obama voters feel like they have to defend themselves, or maybe it's just me. I don't know but I'm so glad he won!!!

    Have a fantastic day!

I don't know who said this but I love this quote, "Without change -- we wouldn't have butterflies"

  21. It was nice here to Rondell...but today we woke up to snow. Not a lot, but enough. It won't stay yet...but winter is just around the corner and it is starting to get chilly.

    Have a great day.
