This is what this morning looked like out my kitchen window...we vote right across the gravel road:) I walk to vote and I've seen some others walking and some even on bicycles that's how nice it is outside today! The Blainsburg Bible Church is right across from our home this is where we vote, we are the only two up here so really I only have neighbors on Wednesdays evenings, Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays:)
Yes, I voted for Barack Obama, this country needs change and I feel he's the one to do it!!!
Have a wonderful day and make sure to vote!

ReplyDeleteI love your valance in your kitchen. You wanna know why? I have the same ones in my kitchen window! Mine are the fishtail. I love the color and pattern.
I too use to love Pepsi. But I thought that I better change to something with less calories and tasted like regular, so Diet Dr. Pepper it is =)
I too voted. It is time for a change!
~Janene~
Thank you for voting. I am sooo glad to see another blogger vote for Obama! We will vote this afternoon when my husband gets off work, we go as a family......my 2 year old is voting for "Omama"
ReplyDeleteThe new look on your blog looks great. I like the color. I am changing mine, too, for winter. We are voting when Simon gets home from work.

WTG Rondell!! I voted Obama too!
ReplyDeleteme too...obama chick here...and proud!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see a handful of blog friends voting for Obama. I hope for the best tonight. I live in a red state...but I'm hoping my vote will help get Obama more electoral votes. We'll see. Nebraska and Maine can split their electoral votes.
ReplyDeleteI had to walk a couple blocks to my voting station-it was at the community in my small town.
we voted and it wasn't for obama...don't feel he is right for the job now or ever...he voted independant and I voted for McCain...I could go on and on,but just glad it is going to be over soon....:)Take care and may the best man win!
ReplyDeleteRondell, I love your wreath! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look! I voted too, for McCain/Palin. I just have a bad feeling about Obama, had to vote with a honest heart! Either way, our new President will make history!
ReplyDeleteRight there with Girl!!!! Beth
ReplyDeleteHow convenient to walk across the street!! I was thrilled that they closed school today because I vote in a school - made it much easier to getin and out.
ReplyDeletePS I love your new header!!
The kids and I walked across the street this morning so that I could cast my vote. We proudly wore our voting stickers for the rest of the day ... and now we're all glued to the news coverage -- hoping for change and better days ahead.
ReplyDeleteSo glad we have the right to vote. It is a feeling of freedom. God Bless America. Julie
ReplyDeleteHi Rondell! I voted first thing this morning too. Didn't vote the same as you, but whoever wins, may God bless him and our wonderful country.
ReplyDeleteI walked to my voting place too. Across the road to the firehouse.
Love the wreath, and your new header photo!
Terry
Rondell,
ReplyDeleteI voted too...for McCain/Palin...I feel they're the change we need, but then that's why we all have the freedom to choose. Whoever, wins, I'll be praying for the leader of our great country and for the American people!
God Bless America!
Tammy
We do need a change that's for sure. I just wish I felt better about either one of the candidates. they both scare me.
ReplyDeleteYes and he won. mishelle
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Rondell!
ReplyDeleteLove the fall wreath on the window. Looks great!
I live close to Charlotte and on the news they just kept talking about how long all the lines were at the polls. I vote at a small country church too and I figured I would be there with about 2 other people...well IT WAS PACKED!! It wasn't a long line but all the voting booths were constantly filled. It was so exciting!
Hope your day is great!!
Beth
P.S. I added ya to my fav's list too!!
It must be great not to have a lot of neighbors! Peace & quiet- wonderful!and yes I did vote!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a nice comment. I have been expecting "hate" comments all morning. Why is it that Obama voters feel like they have to defend themselves, or maybe it's just me. I don't know but I'm so glad he won!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic day!
Sherry
I don't know who said this but I love this quote, "Without change -- we wouldn't have butterflies"
I bet you see a lot of Lincoln, NE on your site meter-if you have one. LOL As I have been checking your comments frequently.
ReplyDeleteToday is a new day! May we rise to the occasion for CHANGE!
Hey Rondell! You must live in such a quiet place! That's so neat!
ReplyDeleteYour valance & wreath are both wonderful. And your blog loos pretty spiffy too! :D
Have a great day!
It was nice here to Rondell...but today we woke up to snow. Not a lot, but enough. It won't stay yet...but winter is just around the corner and it is starting to get chilly.
