~Whatcha Working on Wednesday~

It’s freezing here and we are expecting more snow tomorrow. My snowman flag couldn’t have a better setting for a picture he sure fits in doesn’t he? I’m so glad he loves snow;)

I haven’t had the time to redo my rooms what with working and watching the girls but today in between picking up Samantha I did switch these two prims . I like this one 100_2295

in the dining room better…here is another pic of it.

I really like my spoon rack here in the keeping room it sort of goes with everything a lot better. For my newer readers… I found this spoon rack for 3.00 at a yard sale, Stush cut off all the fancy scroll work on it and I did the rest. There is a cut out heart underneath the homespun:)

Here is a larger view of it!

This is also what I’ve been up to, Stush bought me a Detail sander for Christmas and I’m really liking it and learning from it too. I’ve been doing these frames and bowls to just get the feel of the sander and they are coming out great! Hey, there’s my glasses and coffee mug…yes, I’m a messy crafter:)

To see what everyone else is up to for Whatcha Working on Wednesday go to Leslie’s My Country Home.

Does anyone who uses live writer know how to go to another blog from the one you are posting? I tried and lost my post and had to do it all over again!

Have a wonderful evening prim friends:)

  1. Hi Rondell!! We have a lot of snow here in Vt! We got 33+ inches over the weekend!! Its supposed to get very cold!! I love all your rearranging, your home is so nice and prim!!
As for live writer and going to other blogs I usually open a new browser window and go to new blogs. hope that helps!! Have a wonderful night!!:0)

  2. Your view looks like ours here lately -- super snowy.

And I got a detail sander too this year! It has 8 attachments and I can't wait to use it ...

    Stay warm, my friend!

  3. Glad you got some time to "play" today. I need to rearrange and do some putzing around here too. Still bringing things here from the other house - it looked so bare after I took Christmas down! Hope you have more time soon, Dawn

  4. Rondell,
Your tweaking looks great!! I just love how prim your home looks. I've been trying so very hard to get mine to look more prim.
It's cold here and we are expecting 4 to 6 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. Brrrr....
    Take care and stay warm.

  5. I always like learning from your arrangements and displays, Rondell. Looks great!
    Stay cozy,

  6. That's sure some fun stuff, Rondell! (except for the snow!!!) I hope you can keep warm and dig out from all the snow you keep getting pounded with! :)
    Take care-

  7. We're COLD here too - but not much snow. I'd like one of those sanders. I'm sure it's going to make your projects much easier!

    Stay warm!

  8. We're in the midst of a storm, too. Maybe it will dump on you after it leaves Wisconsin. It is cozy inside, and a perfect time to enjoy your tweaking! It looks great -- keep posting!

  9. Hi Rondell
That Stush He's a keeper. Looks like you've mastered the sander. You'll have to get a bigger house to showcase all your prim projects.

I did read blogs over the holidays but couldn't find time to post. Sounds like you had a great holiday. We did too. Can't wait to post what DH got me for xmas.

I finally hung the shelf I bought at the Country Store like yours. I'll post pics soon.

I'm back to sewing quite a bit. It really is my true love. I dabble in other things but I really love to sew. Maybe I can barter for some of the other stuff I'd like to make and run out of time or not that good at. Guess I'll have to find people to barter with.

You have a great snowy day. We need to meet again for shopping and lunch.

  10. We just got a dusting last evening and I would like some more!

    The tweaking looks great Rondell!

  11. Hey Rondell,
I love your spoon holder. It looks great!! I think you're gonna love your sander. I need a new one myself. Maybe for my birthday. LOL!!

Thanks for letting me know that my web site wasn't on my blog. I know it used to be, but....it's on there now, top left. Just click.

I was gonna put here, but then thought maybe I shouldn't.

  12. Rachel was down in your area the other day to pick up some things to bring back home from her apartment down there. She was so surprised at how much snow you had. We usually get a lot more than you, but this time, you have us beat! School starts back up next week, so please have that snow melted for her when she drives back down next Saturday!
    :) Cathy

  13. Hi Rondell,
I like all your tweaking. That bowl/ spoon rack is an amazing find at $3.00!
The bowls are looking very good too!
Stay warm and snug in out of all that cold white stuff.
    Hugs~ Birgit

  14. Loving that spoon rack and your homespuns. I adore homespuns so much!

I've been thinking about getting one of those sanders. I'll see how you're liking yours after using it more. I believe you have to be messy to be a crafter!! There really is no other way.

    Enjoying your pictures!
