~Whatcha Working on Wednesday~

First I’d like to show you what I purchased from Rhonda she had them on her blog for sale and I just fell in love with the bunny and the BLACK coverlet on him, not to good of a pic so I did it in black & white…I just took it and it’s about 8 PM so the light isn’t to good in here. I have him on the drysink but I know he won’t stay there to long:)

What have I been working on? Not much but I did decide to do some cross stitch on some osenberg fabric so far so good but it sure is hard on the eyes even with the magnifying glass. It’s a free pattern from Stacey Nash and done in black thread…hope I can finish it:0

I’m almost done with Michele’s sofa table I just have to paint underneath it then sand, then later on stain which I maybe able to do next week since the temperature is supposed to be alot warmer. How wonderful it will be to be to open the garage door and work on something, been a long time since I’ve did that!

The watering cans I’ve picked up at GW the one on the right I found today, the one on the left I’ll probably paint.

Well ladies, I’m starting to get tired here, I worked Monday and Tuesday and Oh, I got to see Char too…always good to see her!

Take care and for those who still have snow on the ground (like me) stay warm where ever you are:)

  1. Good Evening Rondell Sweetie...
Oh I love the bunny. I will have to pop over there and see if there are any more. Looks cute to me.

Love the cross stitch. I can't do much of that anymore either. It is hard on your eyes when you get older. Those little boxes get harder and harder to count.

That sofa table is DDG. I just adore it. Thank you for sharing sweetie. So beautiful. Love the little watering cans too.

Have a beautiful day tomorrow. Please know that you are so loved. Country hugs...Sherry

  2. You've been busy, Rondell! I hope you get your warm garage-door-open weather soon! We're down to bare ground here in Maine, but I'm sure winter will find us again before spring arrives for good. I am so ready!

    Don't work too hard...

  3. You sure have been busy girl! That sofa table is going to be so nice when you're done. Wish I could work in my driveway!!! Maybe soon. I heard we are supposed to hit the low 40's by this weekend. Okay, it's March!!! Have a good week, Dawn

  4. Rondell you do such a nice job on your stitcheries...you have a great talent.
Stay warm...and I too am looking forward to getting outside and doing some work! Very good for the mind and spirit!!

  5. Lovin that bunny! Rhonda does wonderful work! I have a couple of her prims. The table looks great! Wish I could open my door too. Melting today but we still have a couple feet out there! Have fun!

  6. Sounds like you have been keeping yourself busy Rondell. I have been working on a X-stitch on osnaburg too, and your right...even with the magnifying glass it is still difficult on the eyes.

I'm with on the the warmer weather thing. Seems like it has been a long winter.
    Have a great day.

    Prim Blessings,

  7. Thats a cute bunny! ANd I know what you mean about the cross stitch....I find it hard to do anymore with my eyes too!

  8. Rondell,
I am always amazed with cross stitch. It looks so difficult to me and on muslin...how do you know if you're in the right spot? Oh, I just don't know how you guys do it! lol Good luck with it, though. I know it will be nice when it's finished :)

Have a great day! The sun is shining :D

  9. Love the stitchery! I can't get the hang of it on osnaberg, just too tiny for my old eyes. The sofa table is looking good too.
    Have a lovely day!

  10. Rondell~ You have been busy! I love the rabbit that you bought! I also like the cross stitch, and the watering cans are great too! Don't worry, Spring will be here soon! ~Dan~

  11. Those are nice watering cans that you picked up! I must be on the same wave length as you - today I was looking at some at Garden Ridge, but I was still undecided. GOing to hunt at some other stores for some. Yay Spring!

  12. Hey Rondell, I'm more than happy to share a little of our Spring with you! I can't wait to see more of that stitching... I think I'd go blind if I tried such tiny work!
    Have a wonderful afternoon, Kimberly

  13. I needed to catch up on you. I haven't tried stitching on Osnaburg yet... maybe someday. I was worried about being able to see it. LOL.

LOVE the chairs you found and they look great around your table.

Last Wednesday you showed your cabinet you switched the door on. Great idea!!! I LOVE the way it came out.

  14. Hi Rondell, I sent you a email but never heard back from you. I was just wondering if you received it or not???

I was wondering if it was possible to cross stich on that kind of fabric just because it would be so hard to see. Can't wait to see your's finished.

  15. I've not tried to stitch on osenberg fabric yet. I would love to but I'm afraid my eyes won't like it. You are doing a wonderful job so far! I just might have to tackle it. I like the fabric look much better compared to the aida cloth look.

    Have a delightful week, Rondell!

  16. Cute bunny!
Stacy has such wonderful patterns and I'm hopefully going to get on some day when i have time to do something different.

  17. That bunny is so cute! Love the sofa table and the watering cans. And I just know that cross stitch piece will be awesome!

Hope you have a great weekend!
