♥ A Friday Surprise ♥

Good morning friends,
It's Sunday already and tomorrow is Dec. 1st where is the time going and why so fast? I am making a head way on my Christmas decorating though...just doing a little at a time still don't have my big tree up and I know I won't get to it today because I'm going with Michele and the girls Christmas shopping and also the Steeler's play today at about 4:00 PM. I know Stush won't want me by the TV decorating the tree:) so I'll do that tomorrow!
I worked till 5 on Friday and didn't notice the box on the porch when I pulled into the driveway and I guess Stush didn't either...when we went to leave at about 7 we went out the front door and there was my box from Karen from My Yellow Farmhouse in it was the giveaway I had won:) What a nice surprise after standing on my feet for 5 hours! I didn't get to open it until I got home...got a shower, jamies on then sat down to savor the moment:) Karen had it wrapped so prim and a sweet note attached...thank you Karen!
Isn't it adorable and I've always wanted one...now I can't wait till next fall, Corrie and Michael are here till tomorrow and I showed Corrie who loves country prims and she just loved it:) I just love the black background with all the fall colors:) Thank you sooooo much Karen♥

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend...tomorrow starts deer season, Stush was out yesterday posting No Hunting signs on trees, we live up in the woods so I really appreciate him doing that...I'll be glad when it's over, just makes me nervous to go outside for fear someone doesn't obey the signs.
Have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy decorating for Christmas♥ Oh and please leave a comment I just love hearing from you... lurkers too:) Means so much to me.

  2. I know what you mean about deer season and hunters. Some have no respect for private property. We've even had our fencing CUT AND MARKED so they could go between our land and another's. Like what do they think fencing is for anyway? And it really bothers me when their dogs come running and barking through, but, like you, the bullets scare me the most. Some shoot before they get a good visual. Fools!

    Be careful!

  7. Love that AUTUMN pillow. I hope to put my tree up in the den tonight. I'll have to have my husband help put it up for me to decorate. It's cold here today so that makes it even better.

  33. Congratulations! What a nice wool pillow ~ it will be perfect in your prim home.

We're posting signs too ~ we live right in the middle of the woods and early morning we can hear shots all around. I won't even let the children go outside just in case! We've already spotted 2 hunters on our property and DH had to go out to meet them and send them on their way.

    Smiles,
    Lea
