I also moved my bench and crocks full of rollingpins and wood spoons that I had under my clock to this side of the keepingroom...I really like it there.
Here's a question for you...which candle should I use here...the dark one or...
the lighter colored one that I got at GW for .49 ?

I think I'm partial to the darker candle on the table. I know the lighter colors are coming in, but I just love the contrast of it against the light table. But you definitely couldn't go wrong with either one....they both look good.

I keep looking for suitcases like that, but I haven't had any luck. I think I like the dark candle--but I have always leaned toward darker colors. Have a great day. Julie

ReplyDeleteGreat suitcase. I like both candles, but my eye was immediately drawn to the light candle. I like that one a little better as it keeps the whole grouping softer...but I think that you could go with either one as they both look great!

Hello Rondell-What a steal on the vanity case. My suggestion on the candle is the light one but with a little something under it to off set all the light and round objects. I think you need just alittle square piece of fabric or candle rug in some colors to pull the whole theme together. Good luck.

Your collection of old suitcases is just wonderful and I love how they're displayed! Again, we never have anything of value (even re-do value) at our GW stores. I think anything of value is taken by workers before it gets on the shelves.
