~I Love Her Home~

Happy Memorial Day!

I recieved my new Country Sampler Saturday and my favorite home of all time was published, now I get to see this home all the time because I haunted Lynda's Primitive Home Tours for so long to just sit and look at this home's pictures. I just love the blues and I can just imagine walking into this home...I bet in person this home takes your breath away:) I was also happy to see that my question that I posted about in my last post was answered...if you look, her livingroom and keeping room's trim is painted blue but her kitchen and eating area trim is a barn red! So I think I'm going to do it ladies:) I may even do my mantel!!!
This is the eating area and as you can see the trim is barn red!

I know my home will never be as great as this lady's but I'm trying:) Has there been anymore work done since last Wednesday? NOoooooooooooooo, but I'm biting my lips so there is no augurments and I guess after all it is a holiday weekend but I so want this all done!
Here's hoping you are all enjoying this weekend and let us not forget all the men and women who gave up so much so that we could all be FREE.

update: He's working on the floor now!!!

  1. Isn't it fun when you see something that just speaks to you! That is what happened to me when I saw Charm on the Farm in the Jan 06issue and even more so with A Colonial Homecoming in the March 08issue. My home will never be filled with those antiques, but we can dream right?

  5. Her home was one of my favorites as well, Rondell! The reds, the blues, and the kitchen ideas on a budget. That's my kind of decorating!

I can't wait to see how your color choices turn out. I just know they'll be lovely. And, boy, can I relate about wanting to get things done...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friend!

  15. I saw the house too. It was by far my favorite one in the magazine. I got kinda tired of the blues in my house but I really like the contrast in her house.

  20. Sorry I haven't been on here lately, but there were several blogs that I couldn't visit for about 3-4 days due to computer issues. It would say that my request was being aborted due to some techinical issues. Anyway, I am now able to take a look at your blog and have missed my visits. Hope you are doing well.

Gotta love taking time to look at a Country Sampler and get more ideas... ya know!?!

    Hugs,
    Lisa
