~Where I Was Last Night and a New Award~

I sure know when fall is here, for me it's the start of football season, my oldest's son's that is. Nick has been playing football since he was 7 or 8 can't really remember, he was captain of his highschool football team and now he is head coach of the Peters Township highschool football, he also teaches math there. I always tell him he is living every man's dream :). My middle son and youngest have always helped him, Michael did the stats and Chris did the fliming, with Michael now in Maryland Chris has taken over the stats position. This is the two of them going to the locker room before the game, Nick is on the left and Chris on the right. I have begged Chris to shave that beard off, I just don't like it, his response was he's tired of looking so young (28) he gets carded all the time with no beard. Wish I had that problem! lol This is their band, I couldn't get them all in the picture, Stush said he thought their was 190 members in it. It's very impressive and very nice to listen to. As you can see our trees are starting to turn:)

The football team...his quarterback is a sophomore but very good. BTW they won 17-13
So that's where I'm at on Friday nights!

Thanks so much for your kind words. I am so happy to be meeting some prim friends. It really hasn't taken off where I live ~ everybody says they love it but they don't decorate in the prim style. Thanks again, Rondell.

  4. Congrats on your award girl - you do rock!!

OH I miss football season! Our son played through college and was quite good - an all star and all that. We loved Friday night games in HS and Saturday games when he was in college.

You should be very proud of all your sons!

  5. Gotta love high school football! And congrats on your award! You so deserve it!

Sorry to hear about your hubby's work. It seems like I always hear about some factory closing down. One of our neighboring towns is shutting down a big factory-over 300 jobs will be lost. Now where is everyone going to work? A lot of the town worked at that factory. :( It's just sad. Thank you for leaving a nice comment on my political post. :)

  12. Oh Rondell,

Thank you so much for the award for my blog!! Coming from you that makes it even more special. You are the master of Prim after all:)

I love the pics of the highschool football; takes me back about 32 years to when I was a cheerleader in highschool, and we froze our butts off cheering for our football team! Enjoy every second of it, times passes so very quickly! I am sending off good thoughts for your hubby and his work, hopefully something will come up for him.
