It's coming along good, we worked all day yesterday and the day before and even did the back porch...hanging my swing and getting the porch furniture all out, I had a good time decorating it. I'll post pics of it when we open the pool, that is next on the to do list...the weather hasn't been hot enough to do any swimming so whenever he wants to do it is fine with me. Right now he is draining water off the pool cover so should be ready in a couple days, I want everything done so that we can enjoy the summer.
Let me know what you think about the color of the trim...I have been trying to visualize in my head how I will be decorating these two or should I say three if you include the diningroom, I'll be using a little patriotic, not alot because I think sometimes you can have just to much and I don't want that, I'm really excited about it and I think my next thing to do when done is to stencil the rooms, I know Stush would draw a straight line for me to follow but I'll think about that later:)
Have a great Monday and can you believe it is June 1st? Sydney has the rest of this week and then school is out for the summer, then I'll have two mornings that I get to sleep in a little:)
I love it, I didn't know you could mix paint with stain? You maybe onto something! Thanks for sharing your 50 is nifty comment!
ReplyDeleteI love the color of the border. Is the kitchen done yet (or was it the dining room?) The room that your DH was ripping apart...LOL/ I know you will be SOOOO happy when life returns to normal, but it so worth it!
ReplyDeleteI love your new look Rondell and you will enjoy the color. I just re-painted our trim after 21 years of having williamsburg blue, very similar to what you just painted. The only difference was I didn't put stain over it. I never really tired of it but decided I would change up a bit. Can't wait to see more pics. Enjoy your blog...keep sharing! Sherrie
ReplyDeleteThe color is just perfect! I can't wait to see it all finished.
