~How to Signature and 6 Things That Make Me Happy~

Happy Friday!
I was blog hopping again and I stopped by Picket's Place and Dot gave out this award to anyone who wanted to except it and to tell 6 things that make you happy:) I think I'm the only one so far that has excepted an award all by myself, lol at least I think so, correct me if I'm wrong! Stop over for a visit at Dot's and see what makes her happy:) Okay, here goes:
1. My three little grandaughters...what more can I say, love when they call me Grammy:)

2. Stush...I've known him since I was 13 and him 14,we went our seperate ways and met again after 32 years. God brought us together and I thank Him everyday for it! Stush also has the warmest hands ever, love when he holds my hand.

3. Watching my children succeed in all they do, they have made me proud so many times:)

4. Going to a great prim craft show or store!

5. Decorating for anything.lol

6. I also love to sit at night and just have the Christmas tree lights on while working on a project while Stush watches TV.

Of course there are more things and events that make me happy but we only had to do 6! If anyone would like to do this please do, I love to know what makes you happy!

Last night I was fooling around on the computer and found out how to do a "signature", some of you wanted to know how to do it...it's very simple so here is the link http://mylivesignature.com/ have fun with it:) Also Wendy let me know that you can click on my signature and it will take you to the web site, thanks Wendy:)
***********************************************************************************

Here also are two pictures that I always forget to post...I found this cute scarecrow at the Goodwill for $1.59 so he is snuggled in the cornstalks at the end of the driveway. I've been looking for something prim to put on the back of my stove ever since we bought it, it's been hard because there isn't to much room and whatever I did put there had the chance of falling down behind the stove especially when you would shut the oven door. While at the Crafter's Showcase I found this and it fits perfectly and can't fit down behind, neat huh?

I hope everyone has a great weekend, take time for yourself and do what makes you HAPPY!

  1. Oh my Goodness Rondell, me and Robbie (DH)have been together since I was 13 and he was 14. I think it so awesome to think back when he was 14. I remember the lil boys face he had,him having his little hair on his face, and just being this tall lankey young man that when i looked at him my heart melt.I would just melt when he would say my name and I still do. That is so awesome that you have experienced this kind of sweet love.I wish the best for you and stush! by the way, did you see my lil craft I did? have a blessed day and weekend.

  5. Loved learning more about you Rondell. My mom goes on and on about her grandchildren. :) I ask well what about your children? :) She says grandchildren are different. She even has a stitchery she made that says something like having children is like a rainbow and having grandchildren is the pot of gold. :)

  13. I LOVE your little finds...the sign behind the stove looks good there also.

Also thanks for the instructions on how to put our name. I tried it but I was unable to see what I was choosing so my name is small and light colored. Not sure how to correct it now. Any ideas?

  25. YEAH!! They sure did! Tonight will be a nail biter for sure. I can not sit and just watch so I come in here and have it on and flip channels to my decorating shows and surf the net or something else at the same time.

We are off for a folaige ride and some errands. Have a great Sunday my prim freind!

  27. Hi Rondell,

Out of all those pillows sitting in my rocking chair, I only made the crow one. BUT I have to admit the pumpkin one I think would be rather easy to make. I did use a pattern for the crow and I have it if you would like me to email it to you. I am not sure if the pattern was meant for felt/penny rug or a stitchery. I started to make a penny rug but once I completed it, I decided I would turn it into a pillow and don't regret it at all.

I have a few stitchery patterns for Christmas but I think I may stitch one and felt another for some Winter pillows. I guess really it is for us to use our creativity.

Thank You for the compliments for the girls. I am so proud of them and treasure every moment I have with them. They grow up way to quickly.

Hope you had a great weekend :)
