~Happy Monday~

Happy Monday everyone;)
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, we of course had a busy one...AGAIN.lol

Yesterday was my sister's birthday and we had chicken parmesan which was really good. The weather was hot and muggy so we came home and just stayed inside in the AC.

I have so much to catch up on around here, pull weeds, clean, wash clothes and yes, finish decorating seems like I've had little time to do that:0 and I miss it.

The weekend of the 14th is our annual flea market at my sister's town we having been doing this for at least 20 years and is always alot of fun. My BIL sells hot dogs and sloppy Joe's also pop and the kids have a good time too...so I have to get things priced and I'll be sure to take pictures.

Here is what I bought in Annapolis, prices were out of this world ladies but all the little shops were so neat. I didn't see one prim shop, of course I sure didn't get to all of the boutiques that was there either. I mostly bought clothes which I needed and so did Corrie. We stopped in a pottery shop, again the prices were sky high but these were just 2.00 each so I bought two...aren't they cute? They had the usual herb ones but I chose dirt and and a heart one, never seen those done before and thought they were unique. I have them in my African Violet in the keeping room.

On the way home Stush surprised me by stopping at a country store in West Virgina and I forget the name, darn, if I run across it I be sure to post it, I know it was right off the highway on the way home:) For the trip I took my July issue of Country Sampler, you should see it all tattered and worn lol... on the way to Michale's I drooled over this runner on page 117 just loving it, well on the way home we stopped at this country store and there it was and only one left. You can be sure I snatched it up!!! Not a good pic of it but if you look in CS they have a much better one;)

The 3rd day of our trip was at the historic Annapolis, we took a boat trip out to the light house. I will never forget the weather so nice that whole weekend...this is Michael and Corrie with Stush holding the life preserver up in back of them/

Here I am at the light house with my honey...my life has changed for the better since I've met him again:) One day I'll have to post a picture of my yearbook where he signed it, I was a sophomore and he was a junior:)

We stopped by this bird nest, now ladies these aren't twigs but branches, it was huge!!!

Here is a picture of the harbor from the boat we were on, I thought it was just beautiful and could just picture how it used to look in centuries gone by.

Loved the area and the weather it couldn't have been more beautiful that day and everyone was out enjoying it too.
You can even bring your dog to this place and store owners would have water outside of there stores so the pets could have a drink!

Thanks Michael and Corrie for giving us such a wonderful time and you are both where you need to be at this time in your life, I love you both, Mom.

  3. Rondell, your trip sounds like such a nice time. One of my aunts used to live in Annapolis for years. Her hubby retired from the military last year. He worked at the Pentagon, so Annapolis was the perfect place for them to live. Since he retired, they now live in NY.

I love your new table runner! It's perfect for your home.

Hope you have a great week!
