Seems like we have did everything around the house later this spring and summer then we usually do, yesterday Stush pulled all the weeds around the house and this morning went to get two yards of mulch and just made it he said, with two yards:) We badly needed it and it's finally done! I did change the wreath on my door..just a grapevine with two teadyed flags in it, at least it shows up better.
Thought I'd share the front of my home with the mulch so that you could see how it does give it a brighter look :)

ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice. Gives it a finished look. My neighbor just added mulch to their front beds and it really made the flowers and shrubs stand out.
ReplyDeleteEverything here is late too by at least a month. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the weeds. They're always out!
How pretty and inviting your home looks! You have given me inspiration to get some mulch for the front of my home! I read some of your older blogs and you are very talented. I have enjoyed your posts and your pictures!

Very cute home. So warm and inviting. How did you get Stush to drill a hole in your brick for your star? My hubby would faint if I asked him to do it. Heck I'm not allowed to hang anything on our siding. LOL. Your home looks so peaceful and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI love how new mulch just freshens everything up. It looks great. Have a wonderful weekend.
