~Happy Weekend~

Here is a pic that I forgot to add yesterday, I figure I'll add what I can everyday because there are just to many:) The little table is a 1.00 yardsale find, just haven't had the time to paint it white so I threw a patriotic dish towel over it, the blue, ball jar is full of dark, red coffee beans and wood apples I have it in a single canning jar holder that I have had for years you can hardly see it because it's all rusty....and of course put in the flags. The little blue colander(just like Leslie's over at My Country Home only she got her's for .25...she is listed to the left under my favs) I got for .49 at Goodwill and the bee hive candle also for .49 it has a little black bee on the side:) I also want to let you all know that I'm going to list a few things to sale on here, I'm going to see how it goes, I'll list prim items but also some shabby chic as I find them. Marie, from A little Bit of Country on the Shore, suggested this to me, she's also listed under my favs, and I'm going to give it a try, thanks Marie! I'll let you know when I post about it, any suggestions for a name for this little adventure that I'm going to undertake? Please leave a comment if you do, I really love hearing from all of you, I know it takes time out of your busy days to do it and I so do appreciate it. Have a wonderful summer weekend!

  1. I have enjoyed your last few posts! Your pool looks wonderfully refreshing. We look forward to putting a pool in here...it's a neccesity, really, here in AZ. I love all your fun yard sale finds and the clever way you arrange them.
As far as names go, how about, "The Busy Bee", "Honeypot Hill", "The Blueberry Patch", "Behind the Picket Fence" or "Country Lane Collectibles".
Now that I type them, they all sound a bit cheesy....but I will throw them your way any how!
Well, I hope all goes well with you and Stush can find a job that will be enjoyable for him.
Keep up the good work with your sweet blog....I say that selfishly because I want to keep stopping by!
    Take Care! :):):)

  8. Rondell,
I'm sure your pool is getting used well! Man, is it hot out there!

The little stand is cute and I like your little display :) I love my little red collandar...it's still in the bathroom holding my soap :)

Your idea to start the little "shop" sounds nice. I like the idea of using your blog name for it.

I still haven't exactly decided to do the whole etsy thing yet. I could but I guess it's the idea of the name and all that? I want it to have cute name but I can't come up with anything that has to do really with us and the area we live in that I like, you know? Someday....

Have a great day and stay COOL!
